Hacking out a composition idea for digital illustration. If all goes well (and let me tell you, it's not going well right now), this will be an animated scene by the end of the year.
This is supposed to be my younger sister and myself as students at Hogwarts (yes, I'm a Ravenclaw and she's a Hufflepuff). Just did a quick little speed painting (a little over an hour or so) to get acquainted with the process of drawing stuff from imagination. It has no lighting and needs lots of refinement, so I'll probably revisit it later.
A still life and a self-portrait for class. Still a novice and both took me an absurdly long time, like 3-7 hours. I am slow at art and I hate that. :(
I'm a visual art generalist who does graphic design professionally full-time, animation/3D modeling as a freelancer, and sculpture/illustration as a hobby. I use both digital and traditional methods for a wide variety of projects.
